Of all the people there most would refer to themselves as a web designer. The actual job titles and activities that these people are involved in varies hugely. From Information Architects, User Experience Designers, User Interface Designers, Developers, Editors the list goes on.
So what to do? The guys over at A List Apart (if you do not know of this site go visit it is one of the best resources on the web for designers and developers) have created their second annual web design survey.
"Last year, we had an astonishing 32,831 responses; I can only imagine where we’ll end up this year. And just as with last year, we will report our findings and release an anonymized raw data set. "
